January in Pictures...so far

One of the things I wanted to do this year was take a picture a day for the entire year. Not sure what this will turn in to, but it could be kinda fun. Sounds easy right?! Notsomuch! Having my phone or camera at the ready at all times has the ability to ruin moments: at times, things just need to happen without cameras or phones interrupting and we just need to remember them in our heads, pictures don't need to be taken for everything and sometimes it's downright inappropriate to have a camera ...that's what our minds are for, among other things...I am determined to make this happen so sometimes pictures won't be very entertaining or paradise-y (I know, not a word), but this is the beginning of my attempt to take a picture a day for a year.
